This local company specialises in the construction and engineering industry, catering their services for facilities, building & power plants. With its expansion, a Finance Manager position is available.

Your new role

Being one of the pillars of the finance team, you will be in charge of:

• Oversee all financial operations, including accounts payable, treasury, fixed assets, inventories, taxes, financial and management accounting, as well as statutory reporting and compliance.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, conduct financial audits, and file tax returns.
• Provide financial data and analysis on the company's overall performance to management regularly and as needed.
• Ensure smooth departmental operations by delivering timely monthly management accounts and other required projections.
• Prepare forecasts and budgets, and monitor current performance.
• Manage the company's tax affairs.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, the company secretary, and other statutory bodies.
• Plan and manage cash flow and banking facilities to ensure sufficient funds for the company's needs.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including accounting, legal, secretarial, and tax matters.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in the role, you will need to possess:

• Minimum Degree in Accounting or Finance, with professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, MIA is preferable.
• Minimum 8-10 years of working experience within the Accounting and Finance function, preferable from Construction, Property or O&G sectors.
• Strong knowledge of MFRS & IRFS.
• Able to lead a team with strong communication skills.
