Finance Manager (based in PJ)

Top MNC company is looking for a Finance Manager to be based in Petaling Jaya.

They are one of the top European MNC companies. Now, they are looking for a solid individual to join their dynamic team as their Finance Manager.

Your new role

1. Oversee daily operational activities, including data entry and reporting, supervising the team to ensure accurate, timely bookkeeping and adherence to approved accounting standards.
2. Support senior management in the preparation of monthly management and accounting reports.
3. Assist in the budgeting process and quarterly forecast reviews.
4. Ensure strict adherence to company policies and standard operating procedures to meet internal audit requirements.
5. Manage compliance matters, internal control systems, and lead projects implemented by global or regional offices.
6. Provide support to internal stakeholders on accounting matters and liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and clients.
7. Demonstrate hands-on leadership, coaching, and support for the team, with the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and ensure timely reporting to the regional office.

What you'll need to succeed

1. Must have chartered qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA, MICPA etc.
2. A minimum of 10-12 years of Accounting & Finance experience, including 5 years in team management.
3. Proficiency in managing the full spectrum of finance functions.
4. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
5. Strong commercial experience in an MNC, particularly in finance operations such as month-end closing; familiarity with meeting strict reporting deadlines set by regional or global offices is preferred.
6. Prior Big 4 or Big 10 audit experience will be an added advantage.
7. Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
8. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
