Your new company
This Malaysian company specialises in civil engineering and infrastructure construction. They have completed over 150 projects worth more than RM1 billion, which includes various infrastructure technology. With an expansion to Indonesia, the company is looking for a Finance Manager to be permanently based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Your new role
As the finance manager, you will be tasked with:

• Preparing consolidated accounts accurately and on time for management reporting.
• Managing the full spectrum of accounting functions and activities.
• Preparing management accounts and project profit/loss reports.
• Assisting in budget and forecast setting, and preparing budget reports.
• Reviewing intercompany balances, reconciliations, and balance sheets.
• Assisting in tax planning and handling the company's tax submissions.
• Managing project financing and banking facilities applications and utilisation.
• Standardising the chart of accounts and reporting formats across the group.
• Enhancing internal control processes and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in the role, you will need to have:

• Able to relocate and work in Jakarta, Indonesia
• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance, professional qualification is an added advantage (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW or equivalent)
• Minimum 10 years of working experience in the Accounting and Finance field, preferably in the construction or infrastructure field
• Strong communication in written and spoken English.
