Finance Manager / Assistant Manager

About my client:

My Client is a well-established company in the IT/Technology Industry. They are looking for a Finance Manager / Assistant Manager to join their finance team to be based in Petaling Jaya to support and lead the finance team while working closely with upper management.

Your key responsibilities:

• Take charge and lead closing activities
• Manage day to day operations of the finance team while ensuring timely and accurate processing of financial transactions
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting to provide insights to support strategic decision
• Assist stakeholders by ensuring their financial service needs are met effectively
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, regulatory requirements and policies.
• Support on audits, statutory reporting and tax
• Develop, enhance and implement SOPs to improve efficiency
• Monitor KPIs of team members to drive efficiency and enhance quality

• At least a Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting
• Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, MICPA or equivalent) is an added advantage
• Minimum 6 years of working experience in finance or accounting (Big 4/Top 10 accounting firm is desired but not a must)
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders (finance and non-finance)
• Strong understanding of financial regulation, compliance and accounting standards
