Finance Manager / Assistant Finance Manager

What You'll Do:

• Manage the Full Set of Accounts:

From general ledger to journals, reconciliations to closing—you're on top of it all, including inter-company transactions and group consolidations where needed.

• Lead Financial Strategy:

Drive accurate budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning aligned with the organization's strategic goals.

• Support Compliance & Reporting:

Prepare timely and accurate management reports, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. Ensure full compliance with all financial standards and regulatory requirements.

• Control & Governance:

Maintain solid internal controls, documentation, and processes to safeguard financial integrity.

• Audit & Tax Liaison:

Be the point of contact for auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies—ensuring all necessary filings and submissions are in order.

• Team Leadership:

Mentor and manage a small team of finance professionals, guiding them in best practices while jumping in hands-on when necessary.

• Partner Across Departments:

Collaborate with operations, academics, and leadership teams to ensure smooth financial operations across the board.

• Drive Continuous Improvements:

Identify gaps and inefficiencies, and propose improvements to systems, SOPs, and reporting tools.

What You Bring:

• 5–7 years of solid experience handling full set of accounts in a business finance environment (minimum 4 years for Assistant Manager applicants).
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g. CPA, ACCA, MIA) are a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel, Google Suite, and accounting systems (SAP / SQL or equivalent is an advantage).
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, tax, audit, and compliance requirements.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Effective communicator who can distill financial concepts for different audiences.
• Team player with the ability to manage, motivate and develop others.
• High levels of integrity, accountability, and a passion for excellence.
