- Manage and oversee the full range of financial accounting and reporting functions at Group and companies level, including general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare accurate and timely profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, inter-company reconciliation, budget plan, forecasts, and other financial reports to support management decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, taxation and internal policies.
- Perform in-depth financial analysis on revenue, cost and expenses to support strategic decision-making and improve profitability.
- Monitoring of internal controls in ensuring finance processes are in place to support all company business activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
- Liaison with Auditors, Tax Agent, Company Secretary, Bankers and Legal officers on accounts and statutory related matters.
- Supervise and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and development opportunities.
- Provide support to senior management on business/commercial and operational matters/issues, leading/driving special projects as and when required.
Education & Experience (Preferable):
- Possess at least a Degree in Accounting or Professional Accounting Qualification from a recognized higher institution.
- A member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
- Minimum 8 year(s) working experience in the full spectrum of Finance & Accounts, with at least 2 year(s) in managerial level.
- Computer literate, notably Microsoft Office Applications.
