Job Responsibilities:

1. Supervise a team of accounting staff to ensure timely Group reporting.
2. Ensure statutory compliance (audit, tax, corporate secretarial).
3. Implement internal controls, business processes and systems and make improvements from time to time.
4. Prepare high quality and timely reports & analysis for business decision making.
5. Act as an effective bridge of communication between HQ and subsidiaries to ensure financial reporting and related processes & procedures are implemented at the subsidiary level.
6. Group cash flow and working capital management.
7. Provide guidance to and develop the accounting team.

Requirements:

1. Candidate must possess a Degree in Accountancy or ACCA or equivalent & a member of MIA.
2. At least 5 years working experience in management and financial accounting preferably with some years of audit exposure.
3. Possess and demonstrate impeccable work ethic and a high level of integrity with strong self-initiative, honesty and loyalty.
4. Possess strong business acumen, sharp, independent, resourceful coupled with strong problem-solving skills.
5. A team player who possesses the ability to work well and gain respect from all levels of colleagues within the Group.
6. Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency, proactive and results oriented.
7. Excellent communication and written skills in Bahasa Malaysia & English; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
