Oversee the full spectrum of the Finance Department.
Review management accounts, financial reports, and forecasts for the entity company to ensure the revenue, expenses, and balance sheet are accurately captured.
Manage processes for accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
Oversee the audit process, including providing guidance and support for the audit of the company, and all related statutory financial reports.
Review and monitor cash flows and capital expenditures.
Support operational finance matters, assisting in the development and execution of financial strategies that align with the organization's objectives.
Perform monthly P&L forecasting, monitoring, highlighting, and suggesting advice including improvements when variances are expected to exceed the threshold.
Minimize financial risks by assessing and evaluating potential direct/indirect impacts from the variances, which may impact the company and/or its future business decisions.
Act as a financial advisor to the management to identify weaknesses in financial reporting across all subsidiaries and make necessary adjustments to existing processes with a view to improving the transparency and accuracy of our financial reports.
Lead and develop the finance and accounting team, providing guidance and support.
Oversee preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, annual budgets, and cash flows.
Undertake any other ad hoc assignments assigned from time to time.
Requirements
Possesses at least a Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
At least 8 years of working experience in finance.
Experience in retail chain store and audit is an added advantage.
Excellent communication skills – Mandarin and English proficiency, verbally and written, is a must.
Accounting knowledge in ERP system is an added advantage.
