This renewable energy company specializes in the solar energy segment, providing its services to the market. Due to an expansion, a Finance Manager position is available.

Your new role

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day activities of the accounting department.
• Review and analyze accounting data to prepare financial reports or statements.
• Develop and implement appropriate accounting policies, procedures, and principles.
• Coordinate and manage the completion of annual audits.
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing consolidations.
• Offer recommendations for improving financial processes.
• Identify opportunities for system and procedure improvements and initiate corrective actions.
• Assign tasks and guide staff to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Achieve financial accounting goals and objectives.
• Maintain accurate fiscal files and records to document financial transactions.
• Act as the primary contact for audit and tax-related issues.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

• Minimum 6-7 years of working experience in the Accounting and Finance field.
• Minimum a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, preferably with a professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW or equivalent).
• Previous experience in similar industries: infrastructure, Renewable Energy, Construction, Property.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
