Job Description:

As a Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in strategic decision-making and operations as we continue to enhance our property portfolio. This role requires a mix of financial expertise, strategic thinking, and strong business acumen to support our financial operations and growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversight of the Finance & Accounting Department set roles & responsibilities, and design frameworks and processes for optimal output.
2. Monitor and supervise all functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit control.
3. Perform month-end closing and reconciliations for presentation to management and other stakeholders while recommending courses of action.
4. Organize and lead monthly meetings with stakeholders to present and discuss the P&L statements, providing insights and strategic recommendations based on financial outcomes.
5. Oversee the financial strategic planning of the company by evaluating its performance and potential risks.
6. Prepare detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis.
7. Prepare and submit SST and Tourism Tax filings with the relevant authorities.
8. Manage the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems.
9. Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
10. Develop and analyse budgets, trends, and projections that meet the strategic goals of the company.
11. Supervise cash flow and forecasting; direct all financial, project-based, and departmental accounting.
12. Coordinate audit processes and ensure accuracy of financial information.
13. Work with senior management to share reports and analysis findings.
14. Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems.
15. Liaise with Tax agents, Auditors, and Company Secretary to ensure statutory compliance and timely submissions.
16. Perform other ad hoc tasks as required by management.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; an MBA or CPA is preferred.
2. At least 5 years of experience in financial management and accounting, preferably in the real estate or property management sector.
3. Strong understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
4. Proficient user of finance software.
5. Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
6. Able to manage, guide, and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
