About Us: Nastah Industries is a pioneer in Malaysia rubber gloves industry with over 30 years manufacturing experience, specialized in high-quality rubber gloves for household and industrial use, with a commitment to excellence, sustainability, and innovation. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager to lead our financial operations and contribute to our strategic growth.

Job Summary: The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis. This role ensures the company’s financial health by managing risks, optimizing financial performance, and supporting strategic decision-making. The Finance Manager will work closely with senior management to align financial strategies with business goals.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Financial Planning & Budgeting:
    • Lead the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor financial performance and provide analysis for variance reporting.
  2. Cash Flow & Treasury Management:
    • Manage cash flow, optimize liquidity, and oversee banking relationships, including loans and foreign exchange (FOREX).
  3. Financial Reporting:
    • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Present financial reports to senior management.
  4. Risk Management:
    • Manage financial risks including credit risk, insurance policies, and compliance with financial regulations.
  5. Internal Controls:
    • Ensure robust internal controls and compliance with statutory requirements.
  6. Tax Compliance:
    • Liaise with tax authorities and external auditors to ensure timely submission of tax filings and compliance with tax regulations.
  7. Cost Optimization:
    • Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency without compromising quality.

Other Responsibilities

  1. Learning & Development:
    • Coach and mentor finance team members, providing development plans and career growth opportunities.
  2. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with other departments to align financial strategies with company objectives.
  3. Project Management:
    • Lead cross-functional projects to improve financial processes and systems.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, or CFA) is a plus.
  2. 8-10 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.

Licenses & Certifications

  • Member of MIA (Malaysian Institute of Accountants) or equivalent.

Skills

  • Strong financial acumen, including expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Proficient in accounting standards and practices (e.g., IFRS/MFRS).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and ERP systems (SAP Business One or similar).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
