Finance Manager

About the role

This full-time Finance Manager position is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the company's financial management. As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and providing strategic financial insights to support the company's growth objectives.

What you'll be doing

• Manage the company's accounting and financial reporting processes, including preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements
• Oversee the company's budgeting and forecasting activities, and provide financial analysis and recommendations to the management team
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and internal control procedures
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support for strategic initiatives
• Supervise and develop the finance team, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and resources to excel
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficient financial management practices
• Participate in the development and implementation of the company's financial policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar finance management role, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, and a professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA)
• Excellent financial management and reporting skills, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Proficient in using financial management software and data analysis tools
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop finance professionals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Experience in handling financial matters for a public listed company will have an added advantage
• Willing to travel
