Role and Responsibilities

Main duties and responsibilities

Finance and Accounting

  1. Manage the Finance and Accounting operations for clients with the assistance of the team.
  2. Supervise and review the preparation of consolidated financial statements, business activity reports, and forecasts of manpower requirements.
  3. Oversee and supervise corporate income tax calculation for our clients.
  4. Oversee the preparation of the finance-related reports and deliverables by the team.
  5. Ensure compliance with local statutory accounting and taxation policies and requirements.
  6. Ensure timely and accurate financial and management reporting according to local statutory requirements.

Finance and Internal Audit

  1. Lead and support projects related to Finance and Accounting such as Finance Remediation and Internal Audit projects.
  2. Work with senior stakeholders to brainstorm and strategize solutions for finance-related issues.
  3. Work with the team in analyzing the design of operational processes and control, including testing effectiveness of control to identify ineffectiveness in Finance and Accounting processes.
  4. Analyze and improve the design of reporting templates for regulatory and management purposes.
  5. Identify and mitigate potential risks and highlight them to key stakeholders.
  6. Manage the relationship and communication with the client.

Other requirements

  1. Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related disciplines. Preferably a certified/chartered accountant with qualifications in ACCA/CA/CPA/CMA.
  2. At least 5 years of working experience in Finance or Internal Audit. Experience in a managerial or leadership role will be highly desirable.
  3. Structured thinker with exceptional problem-solving ability and strong attention to detail.
  4. Strong sense of client service, good communication skills, and a sense of teamwork.
  5. Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
