Prepare and review reports to meet corporate and regulatory requirements, ensuring timely submission.
Collaborate with various business functions to prepare and review budgets and forecasts.
Analyze financial and business data to provide insights and actionable plans to support senior management in achieving business objectives.
Ensure proper accounting treatment and accurate records for each category of fixed assets.
Prepare and review audited financial statements, ensuring timely completion for submission to SSM.
Enforce company policies and procedures in business transactions.
Review and document policies, procedures, and relevant documentation annually, with a focus on continuous improvement for efficiency.
Complete any ad hoc tasks and projects assigned by the company.
Liaise with external parties, such as auditors, tax agents, lawyers, company secretaries, and bankers.
Coordinate with internal teams, including corporate office functions like group reporting and internal audit.
Education and Professional Membership Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a recognized accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, MICPA) or equivalent.
Membership with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) or other professional bodies (e.g., ACCA, MICPA).
Experience Requirements:
Minimum of five (5) years in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
Good understanding of financial products in banking, such as loans and trade facilities.
Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably Microsoft AX 365, SAP, or JDE.
Experience in the consumer goods industry or a related sector is preferred.
