Finance Manager

As Finance Manager, you will oversee all financial matters in Singapore, including P&L, financial transparency, forecasting, governance, risk management, and internal controls. You will support the Sales team for Electrification, Automation, and Digitalization (EAD) in Singapore and Asia Pacific region (Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Australia) from a commercial angle and assist the tendering team with customer offers, bids, and negotiations on commercial topics. Although based in Malaysia, you'll manage the business in Singapore.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Support implementation of financial and business administration policies, standards, and procedures for the assigned organization unit.
• Work closely on topics relating to sales, project activities, and control & reporting.
• Act as a sales strategic partner in developing and implementing sales strategies.
• Support sales functions for Singapore and Asia Pacific from a commercial perspective.
• Be an expert in the LOA process (Regional coordinator and administrator) and guide the sales team on this process.
• Lead terms and conditions (TC) discussions with customers as part of the sales caption team, if necessary.
• Approach customers with a flexible and proactive problem-solving approach, considering the customer's viewpoint and Siemens Energy's position.
• Check content and analyze supplier and/or customer contracts to ensure compliant and standardized contract management.
• Support controlling and reporting topics relating to sales.
• Drive digitalization in planning, reporting, and controlling aspects.
• Exhibit situational leadership and contribute to overall people strategies and programs.

What You Bring

• A bachelor‘s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of operational experience in a Finance function for an International organization.
• Strong understanding of financial principles and project management.
• Solid understanding of financial controlling and management accounting (IFRS).
• Experience in working with corporate functions such as Finance, Accounting, Legal, Tax, and HR.
• Ability to lead multiple priorities and reporting requirements optimally within the timeframe.
• Proficiency in ERP and Finance systems, preferably SAP/Spiridon.
• Strategic problem solver with experience in organizational transformation.
• Proactive, collaborative with strong interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel.
