Finance Manager

Responsibility:

1. Support Financial Accounting & Management functions
2. Ensure compliance with tax laws and financial regulations and local reporting
3. Assist, review, advise, and oversee daily finance operations, especially in accounts payable and claims process

Financial Planning:

1. Lead the development and management of the annual budgeting process
2. Collaborate with relevant personnel to gather and synthesize inputs for budget preparation and updates
3. Provide financial technical support and guidance to business units

Reporting:

1. Prepare accurate and timely monthly cost center reports and present them clearly to management and stakeholders

Internal Controls and Continuous Improvement:

1. Identify, implement, and oversee process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and effectiveness
2. Develop and implement internal controls and management reporting guidelines, ensuring alignment with group policies

Qualifications:

1. Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA / CIMA / CPA)
2. At least 10 years of working experience in the manufacturing industry
3. Good administration and communication skills, both verbal and written in English; fluency in Mandarin is preferable
4. Reliable and meticulous
5. Strong understanding of Malaysian accounting standards (MFRS) and tax regulations
