Finance Manager

• Take responsibility for finance and accounting performance as well as monthly closing, ensuring timely reporting with the respect of deadlines.
• Review the preparation of monthly accounts and financial reports in a timely and accurate manner and in accordance with statutory requirements.
• Coordinate interim audit and final audit with external auditors.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, consultants and other relevant authorities to ensure financial and legislative compliance.
• Liaise with bankers and Cosec on account opening and handle all banking matters, verify and approve payments for Company expenses and loan disbursement.
• Preparation of tax computation, zakat, tax estimates and ensure a timely and effective level of tax compliance in accordance with relevant legislation.
• To support the ongoing review, implementation and monitoring of financial policies & procedures incorporating internal controls and comply with MFRS and other company policies.
• To assist and provide analytical support to evaluate and improve business performance.
• Supervision and provide guidance to Finance & Accounting staff.
• Other tasks assigned by direct supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• At least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting OR a professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/ICAEW/MICPA/MIA).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and meet tight deadlines.
• High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality as well as attention to detail.
• Mandarin speaking fluently is an advantage.
• Experience in audit firm or hire purchase/leasing/credit industries is an added advantage.
