Job description

Job Responsibility

Financial Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the organization’s overall goals.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance across subsidiaries and recommend improvements.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare consolidated financial statements and management reports.
  • Conduct financial analysis to assess profitability, cost structures, and investment opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry-specific financial requirements.

Risk Management & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations, healthcare compliance, and internal controls.
  • Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee audits and coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.

Business Growth & Investment Management

  • Support the expansion of Kynohaigo Group’s medical clinics, rehabilitation centers, and educational ventures.
  • Identify opportunities for funding, grants, and strategic partnerships.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities, including real estate acquisitions, new business units, and technology upgrades.

Operational & Team Leadership

  • Supervise and support the finance team across subsidiaries.
  • Standardize financial processes and reporting for consistency and accuracy.
  • Work closely with department heads to ensure financial alignment with operational goals.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s/MBA preferred).
  • Language required: English & Bahasa Malaysia
  • Skills required: Financial Analysis, Financial Reporting, Risk Management, Business Management, Leadership
  • CPA, CMA, or other relevant certification is a plus.
  • 7+ years of financial management experience, preferably in healthcare or multi-entity organizations.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong financial modeling, budgeting, and analytical skills.
  • Expertise in Malaysian taxation, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to liaise with banks, investors, and government financial bodies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
