Job description

The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the financial health of the organization, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to support decision making. This role involves overseeing financial operations, developing financial plans, and leading a team of finance professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Accounting: Oversee day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  2. Budgeting: Develop and manage the organization's budget, monitor performance against budget targets, and conduct variance analysis.
  3. Financial Planning and Analysis: Implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic goals. Analyze financial performance and provide insights for decision-making.
  4. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
  5. Treasury Management: Manage cash flow and liquidity, including bank relationships and loan agreements.
  6. Financial Management Systems: Evaluate and improve finance management systems and processes.
  7. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks.
  8. Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws.
  9. Team Management: Lead and manage a team of finance professionals.
  10. Business Partnership: Collaborate with other departments to understand their financial needs and provide guidance.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. A master's degree in finance or business administration is preferred.
  2. 5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably within a consulting, technology, or professional services firm.
  3. Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  4. Experience with financial compliance, taxation, and risk management.
  5. Understanding of local and international financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
  6. Proficiency in financial software, Excel, and business intelligence tools.
