FINANCE MANAGER

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Finance Manager to join our dynamic team at Khoon Hooi, a leader in the luxury fashion industry. In this key leadership role, you will drive financial excellence and provide insights that will shape the company's growth and success. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and management, ensuring sound financial management and contributing to strategic decision-making within a creative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and execute precise day-to-day accounting functions including invoicing, payment processing, and cash management, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
2. Prepare and deliver timely, complete, and accurate financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, notes to accounts), meeting all internal and statutory deadlines.
3. Lead the monthly and yearly closing process, ensuring management and statutory reports are completed to the highest standards.
4. Conduct weekly and monthly bank reconciliations and manage cash flow to optimize financial health.
5. Serve as a liaison for internal and external stakeholders, reconciling payment discrepancies and ensuring seamless communication.
6. Develop and implement strong internal controls and financial procedures to safeguard assets and maintain compliance with local accounting standards and company policies.
7. Lead the preparation and presentation of insightful monthly management reports, including variance analysis, budget vs actuals, and cash flow forecasts, to inform strategic decisions.
8. Partner with key stakeholders to coordinate and review the annual budget, driving accountability and efficiency across departments.
9. Continuously assess and refine financial processes, identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and support the company's growth.
10. Coordinate annual audits and proactively address accounting and control issues, ensuring timely resolution.
11. Manage relationships with regulatory bodies and ensure full compliance with statutory requirements, including tax filings and other financial obligations.
12. Provide guidance on company secretarial matters and ensure all finance-related administrative tasks are handled with precision.
13. Act as a trusted financial advisor to management, contributing to high-level strategic initiatives and long-term business planning.

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, ACCA, or equivalent. Candidates with a finance degree and substantial relevant experience will also be considered.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, accounting, or project management, ideally within a multinational organization or international business environment.
3. Strong background in General Ledger (GL) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions.

2. Advanced financial management and accounting expertise, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of setting priorities and managing multiple tasks efficiently.
4. Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-moving, high-growth industry.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
6. Strong proficiency in financial software and systems, with a forward-thinking approach to integrating new technologies.
