Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking an exceptional Finance Manager to join our dynamic team at Décor Trend Industries Sdn Bhd. As our Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations and reporting for our organisation. This full-time position is based in Kuala Langat, Selangor.

What you'll be doing

1. Manage the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
2. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, budgets, and other reports to support strategic decision-making
3. Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
4. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to the senior management team
5. Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment
6. Implement and maintain effective financial controls and systems to mitigate risks
7. Collaborate with other departments to integrate financial data and drive operational efficiency

What we're looking for

1. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2. Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or CIMA)
3. Minimum 5 years of experience in a finance management role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
4. Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin. Proficiency in speaking and reading Mandarin is required as we are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients
5. Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
7. Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
8. Proficient in the use of financial software and Microsoft Office suite
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
