Introduction:
As the Finance Manager of the company, you will oversee the financial management and reporting activities of the company, and will be responsible for budget planning as well as supporting the management team in offering insights and financial advice that will allow them to make the best business decisions for the company.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Reporting to management, you will oversee financial accounting, reporting, management accounting, analysis, monthly forecast, cash flow reporting, tax, audit, internal controls and corporate governance of the company, including those of its subsidiaries and affiliates. Being a crucial member of the management team, the Finance Manager job description includes, but is not limited to:
Profile:
• Degree in Accounting or related ACCA / CPA or equivalent professional qualification required.
• 5 to 8 years of Finance or Accounting experience, with 3 years in audit and 3 years in managerial/supervisory experience, exposure to audit and tax is preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in group reporting and consolidation is preferred, minimally must be comfortable with mass data and multi business unit environment, prior exposure in external audit firm is a plus.
• Familiar with statutory requirements / tax systems in Singapore, Malaysia and Australia.
• Relevant experience in engineering/manufacturing industry will be an advantage.
• Experienced with financial modelling is highly desired.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritising in order to meet deadlines is important.
• Strong analytical skills, meticulous, with a keen eye for details and desire to probe further.
• Resourceful with strong negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Possesses general commercial and business acumen.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills and leadership skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft office applications, with advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint an advantage.
• Familiar with implementation and management of ERP and future digitisation projects.
• Proficient in accounting software Xero is preferred.
• Experience in MRPEasy software is preferred.
• Ability to stick to time constraints.
