Finance Manager

Job Summary:
As a Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the financial activities of the organization. You will be responsible for guiding financial decisions, monitoring budgets, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. You should have a strong understanding of IT and the ability to leverage technology to improve accounting processes, streamline operations, and enhance overall efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the overall financial health and strategic growth of the company.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning and Analysis:
   Develop, monitor, and analyze financial budgets and forecasts. Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic planning and decision-making. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within financial data. Utilize financial software and technology to automate data analysis and forecasting, improving efficiency.
2. Financial Reporting:
   Prepare and present accurate financial statements, reports, and analyses. Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports to internal and external stakeholders. Interpret financial data for management and provide actionable insights. Enhance reporting processes through the use of technology, ensuring real-time and accurate reporting.
3. Financial Management:
   Manage the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Optimize working capital and manage cash flow to meet operational needs. Monitor and manage financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Utilize accounting software and automation tools to streamline financial operations and reduce manual processes.
4. Budget Control:
   Monitor actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts. Identify areas of cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and revenue enhancement. Implement measures to control and manage costs effectively, leveraging technology to track and manage expenses.
5. Financial Compliance:
   Ensure adherence to financial regulations, laws, and accounting standards. Collaborate with auditors and regulatory authorities during audits and examinations. Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation. Implement IT solutions for compliance monitoring and reporting to ensure accuracy and reduce the risk of non-compliance.
6. Team Leadership:
   Supervise and mentor a team of financial professionals. Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to team members. Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment. Promote the use of technology within the team to enhance productivity and collaboration.
7. Financial Strategy:
   Contribute to the development of financial strategies aligned with organizational goals. Collaborate with executive management to drive financial initiatives and business growth. Use advanced financial tools and software to drive strategic financial planning and decision-making.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
4. Proficiency in financial software and tools, including advanced knowledge of Excel and ERP systems.
5. Strong understanding of IT tools and the ability to implement technology solutions that improve accounting processes.
