About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our dynamic team at Evergreen Fibreboard Bhd. in Batu Pahat District, Johor. As our Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's financial operations and contributing to the strategic growth of our organisation. What you'll be doing

• Preparing and analysing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Managing the company's budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Overseeing the accounting team and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
• Providing financial insights and recommendations to support business decision-making
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
• Familiar with manufacturing account is added advantage.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 8 years of experience in a finance management role, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferred
• Excellent financial analysis and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and reporting
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Experience in leading and developing a finance team
