The Finance Inventory Executive will play a key role in managing and optimising inventory-related financial processes, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate inventory reporting, drive cost efficiencies, and support data-driven decision-making within the organisation.

Description

  • Manage and track financial inventory activities, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of inventory data across all reporting systems.
  • Support the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and periodic financial analysis related to inventory costs, stock movements, and capital expenditures.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis on inventory transactions, identifying variances, trends, and actionable insights to drive cost efficiency and optimise inventory management practices.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive reports on inventory performance, ensuring senior management is provided with clear, data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Partner with procurement, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure alignment between financial objectives and inventory performance, providing expert financial guidance to drive business objectives.
  • Continuously review inventory-related financial processes, identifying and implementing improvements to enhance accuracy, streamline workflows, and strengthen internal controls.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations, accounting standards, and company policies related to inventory management, maintaining robust internal controls and audit trails.

Profile

  • 2-3 years of experience in FP&A or financial analysis, with a focus on inventory management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced skills in formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an added advantage.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data handling.
