Finance Intern

We are looking for a Finance Intern to support finance operational tasks for ZALORA Cluster. This role will study and learn the role of an Accounts Executive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where you will gain responsibility for invoice processing, collections process, and participate in ongoing projects. This role is based in Malaysia.

Responsibilities:

1. To perform team processes relating to Order to Cash
2. Perform manual bank tagging and payment allocation.
3. Perform daily reconciliation and follow up on discrepancies identified.
4. Work together with other business stakeholders to resolve issues involving invoice capturing and ensuring approvals and adherence to policies and processes.
5. Support the collection process for any overdue customer invoices.
6. Support Senior and Manager in gathering relevant information for audit and other ad-hoc duties.
7. Support WHT, SST & GST document preparation.

Job Requirements:

1. Currently pursuing an Advanced Diploma/Degree in Accounting/Business Administration/Commerce or working towards Professional Accounting Qualification such as ACCA, MICPA or CIMA.
2. Good knowledge and understanding of Finance processes and accounting entry.
3. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
4. Good knowledge of Excel.
5. Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work.
6. Proactive and good team player.
7. Ability to complete a variety of related tasks.
8. Mature and able to work independently.
9. Able to commit for 6 months.
