About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Executive to join our team on a temporary basis for 3 months. This role focuses on General Ledger (GL) management, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, timely reconciliations, and compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate is available for an immediate start and has a strong background in GL operations.

What you'll be doing

General Ledger (GL) Management:

• Maintain and manage GL accounts, ensuring all entries are accurate and up to date.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual GL reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and standards.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Review and analyze GL entries for accuracy and alignment with budgetary goals.

Month-End and Year-End Closings:

• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and accruals.
• Prepare supporting documentation for audit and review purposes.

Variance Analysis:

• Conduct variance analysis between actuals and budgets for GL accounts.
• Provide insights and recommendations to address discrepancies.

Compliance and Internal Controls:

• Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.

Ad Hoc Support:

• Assist in other finance-related tasks as needed, including accounts reconciliation and system updates.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in General Ledger operations.
• Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., SAP, or similar ERP systems).
• Strong command of Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis).
• Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and deliver results under tight deadlines.
