Finance Executive/ Senior Executive

About the role

Ferrotec Power Semiconductor Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Executive / Senior Executive to join our dynamic team in Pasir Gudang, Johor. In this full-time position, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the company's financial operations and contributing to the overall success of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and analysing financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Conducting financial analysis and providing insights to support business decision-making.
• Assisting with the preparation and submission of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and policies.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial support and guidance.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing efficient financial systems and controls.
• Participating in the development and implementation of financial strategies and budgets.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar finance or accounting role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Proficient in the use of financial software and spreadsheet applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide practical solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is preferred.
