Finance Director (Shah Alam)

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee finance, accounting, and tax functions, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and alignment with best practices.
• Lead budgeting, financial reporting, audits, and cash flow management across the organization.
• Develop and implement fundraising strategies to support growth and operational needs.
• Manage capital structure and investments to drive the company’s financial strategy.
• Build and lead the finance team, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
• Provide clear direction, mentorship, and support to achieve team and company objectives.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities, improve processes, and enhance financial efficiency.
• Collaborate with other department heads to achieve company targets and drive strategic initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and implement robust risk management practices.
• Stay updated on legislation and adapt processes to meet legal and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor financial performance, analyze key metrics, and provide actionable insights.
• Support IPO activities and ensure readiness for public listing.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Professional qualification in Finance/Accountancy (ACCA, MIA, CPA) or equivalent.
• Proven experience in financial management and reporting, preferably at the Group level.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and lead the finance team.
• Hands-on experience in retail finance operations and familiarity with ERP systems.
• Successful track record in fundraising, capital management, and IPO preparation.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Regional or global finance exposure is an advantage.
