Finance Director, Diversified Industry

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the entire finance department, including accounting, treasury, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and investor relations.
• Develop and implement a long-term financial strategy aligned with the company's overall business goals.
• Oversee the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulations.
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, providing senior management with accurate and timely financial information.
• Lead the divestiture and disposal of several assets.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate financial risks.
• Manage the company's cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity.
• Oversee all aspects of investor relations, including communication with analysts and shareholders.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve the company's financial performance.
• Stay up-to-date on current accounting principles and financial trends.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and other financial professionals.
• Manage tax planning and compliance in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a CFO or in a senior finance leadership role.
• Proven track record of success in leading and developing high-performing finance teams.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinking and business acumen.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial modeling software.
• ACCA or CFA qualification (Preferred).
• Strong banking network to help with fundraising and refinancing (Preferred).
• Prior experience with Sell-Side, M&A, and cross-border transactions (Preferred).

Remuneration

MYR 20,000 - MYR 30,000
