Job description

Responsibilities

Prepare, analyse and manage financial reports related to property and facility management operations, ensuring accuracy and actionable insights.
Monitor and control facility-related expenses, including maintenance, utilities, leasing, and capital expenditures, to optimize cost efficiency.
Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts for property and facility operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Evaluate financial terms of facility management contracts, service level agreements, and vendor performance to drive cost-effectiveness.
Act as a finance liaison for the property and facility management teams, providing financial insights to support operational decision-making.
Identify and implement financial process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy, forecasting efficiency, and cost control measures.
Ensure adherence to corporate policies, industry regulations, and financial governance in all property and facility-related transactions.
Work closely with procurement, operations, and asset management teams to align financial strategies with business goals.
Stay updated on property management trends, cost optimization strategies, and financial best practices to enhance business performance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
1 to 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or business partnering, preferably in the property, facility management, or real estate industry.
Strong understanding of financial planning, cost control, and reporting within facility management or asset management.
Experience in analysing facility expenses, capital expenditures, and vendor financial performance.
Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting for property management operations.
Ability to prepare financial reports and analysis for management.
Ability to work in cross-functional teams, including procurement, operations, and asset management.
Strong attention to detail and ability to support financial governance.
Willingness to learn and contribute to process improvements.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and analytical skills to present financial data and identify risks.
