Job Title: Finance Associate, Accounts Receivable

About the role:

We are hiring for the exciting position of Finance Associate, AR to join our multi-national FSSC in Kuala Lumpur. As the Finance Associate you will report into the APAC FSSC Accounts Receivable Manager supporting on all Accounts Receivable responsibilities.

This role is hybrid with a working pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

Responsibilities:

• To ensure customer receipts and vendor payments are allocated accurately in SAP.
• Create and change vendor and bank master data in SAP.
• Responsible for the month end tasks in collaboration with the Financial Accounting team - Monthly Bank Reconciliation and Debtor Aging Report.
• To ensure the accuracy, timeliness and completeness of the transactions processed as per BSI’s SLA and KPI.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects with a view to improving process efficiency and effectiveness.
• Perform other duties as and when delegated, including back-up, business process improvement initiatives and ad-hoc projects.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

• Experience working in an Accounts Receivable function – essential.
• Understanding of ledger management and accounting reconciliations.
• Experience using Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
• Agile and support in all departmental activities.
