The Finance Associate - Record to Report (RTR) will assist Finance Managers to deliver accurate and timely monthly financial close. This includes all Record-to-Report (RTR) accounting and reporting activities such as preparation/review of journals postings, reports, and other month-end processing.

Make an Impact by:

• Performing balance sheet reconciliations and following up proactively on aged open items in a timely manner. Prepare analysis for review with management.
• Maintaining and updating standard process documents and operational procedures regularly to ensure relevance.
• Assisting with interim and year-end audit, including preparation of year-end audit schedules, liaising with external auditors to furnish information and follow up on audit queries.
• Facilitating internal audit reviews and addressing queries from internal auditors in a timely manner.
• Participating in review meetings with management to update on deliverables, address open issues and highlight outstanding matters.
• Participating and supporting project testing and enhancements.
• Participating in initiatives that drive continuous improvement of processes and workflows through automation and adoption of new tools and software.
• Assisting to coordinate the processes and workloads within the RTR team.
• Providing support to team members on RTR-related matters. Handling escalations promptly and effectively as they arise.
• Undertaking any other duties as assigned.

Skills for Success:

• Degree in Accountancy or other equivalent Professional accounting qualification.
• A strong technical accounting background.
• Minimum 5-6 years of working experience. Candidates with experience in finance shared service-related fields are at an advantage.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and willingness to learn new IT tools/applications.
• Knowledge and experience working in SAP environment or equivalent.
• Any of the below experiences or knowledge will be a plus:
  • Hands-on experience with Blackline and RPA for financial close and reconciliation processes.
