Finance Assistant Manager/Manager

Currently our office is located at Damansara Utama. Expected to move to Glenmarie, Shah Alam in 1st Quarter of Year 2025.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the overall finance function and the finance team, ensuring full completion of the company's financial responsibility on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.
2. Oversee the financing and treasury matters for the company and maintain good relationships with bankers.
3. Ensure credibility of the finance team by providing timely and accurate analysis of financial results, budgets, financial trends, and forecasts.
4. Ensure internal controls are in place and compliance with regulatory laws and rules for financial, statutory, audit, and tax reporting/requirements.
5. Provide strategic direction to the Management, offering high-level, proactive financial expertise and direction for both short-term and long-term financial planning.
6. Advise the Management on financial resources and all financial operations.
7. Preparation of budget forecasts and financial analysis.
8. Undertake other special assignments, ad-hoc functions, and related duties as required.

Requirements:

1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
2. At least 7 years of working experience in Financing and Accounting related work is required for this position.
3. Preferably in property development and construction industries.
4. Candidate must have at least a Degree/Diploma in Accounting or be partly completed in their professional accounting qualification (i.e., MIA, CIMA, ACCA, or CPA).
5. Good understanding of operating and capital expenditure, revenue, internal controls, and budgets.
6. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
