Finance Analyst - Project Development

Position Summary
This role will be to coordinate and prepare Inland / Intermodal Projects investment proposal covering Asia Region.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate the inland / maritime investment opportunity.
• Liaise with agencies, ARO and country logistics departments to conduct an in-depth market study.
• Integrate market and financial data collected and responsible for building financial models and sensitivity analysis.
• Prepare investment proposal for Management's approval.
• Merger and Acquisition pre-planning works and Finance Due Diligence executions.
• Manage and monitor project progress as well as being the focal point of liaising between contractor and JV partners.
• Prepare project progress reports.
• Manage and assure compliance with all covenants required by authorities.
• Reports to Regional Project Development Director.

Required Qualifications:

• A degree in accounting or in a relevant field. Professional certification (ACCA, CFA) will be an added advantage.
• Relevant experience in financial modelling skills, business valuation and due diligence processes for project development proposals.
• More than 5 years' experience in MNC audit / corporate finance.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Knowledge in the shipping / logistics industry is a plus.
• Ability to work well within a team and autonomously.
• Commitment to the highest standards of quality of work, preciseness and attention to detail.
• Strong business acumen, assertive, self-motivated and adaptable abilities.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Position will be based in Glenmarie, Shah Alam, Selangor.
