Finance Analyst (Costing)

Job Responsibilities

• Review the standard cost change form and prepare system input, coordinating necessary changes into the ERP system.
• Timely and accurately prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to support cost analysis and management reporting.
• Perform month-end closing for inventory, including ledger entry for inventory reconciliation, negative WIP, WIP aging, and stock in transit value adjustment.
• Assist and participate in business process improvement projects.
• Perform accounting and finance-related duties or tasks as assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or Finance/Professional Qualification in Accounting (CIMA/ACCA).
• Minimum 1 - 2 years of related experience, with exposure to Cost Accounting and MNC manufacturing environments.
• Experience in Oracle and Hyperion is preferred.
• Background in job costing or process costing with good accounting knowledge.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Self-starter with the ability to work as a team and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage for effective communication with Mandarin-speaking counterparts from the China region.
