About the role

As a Finance Analyst, you will participate in month-end general ledger close and reporting of designated China entities’ results. You will be responsible for the preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations, preparation and review of journal entries, and execution of internal control in accordance with Haleon Internal Control Framework. You will collaborate with local stakeholders and other finance functions (e.g., P2P, O2C, Stat) to ensure successful month-end close. Additionally, you will provide guidance and on-the-job training to analyst members within the team.

Role Responsibilities

• Participate in month-end general ledger close and reporting of designated China entities’ results.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and execute internal controls in accordance with Haleon Internal Control Framework.
• Provide Record to Report transaction processing support ensuring delivery quality in terms of accuracy, completeness, and timeliness on a daily basis.
• Resolve general accounting and reporting issues.
• Perform analytical review of profit and loss accounts and balance sheet, cost center checks, and transaction posting checks.
• Review monthly Balance Sheet schedules & reconciliation where required.
• Ensure compliance with hub policies and local company legal and statutory requirements.
• Review backlog and cycle time reports to improve process flow times.
• Ensure stakeholders' queries are attended to and resolved in a timely and proactive manner.
• Support new and existing team members through proper knowledge transfer and sharing of best practices.
• Work with Global Process Owner or Process Improvement Expert to standardize close and control activities.
• Assist in the preparation of training materials when required.
• Other ad-hoc activities include supporting dividend payment processes, participating in compliance audits, and responding to audit queries.
