Finance Analyst

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Planning & Analysis: Assisting our Financial Controller in developing, implementing, and managing financial models, forecasts, and budgets. Analyze financial performance and provide insights to drive strategic decisions.
2. Budgeting & Forecasting: Assisting our Financial Controller in budgeting and periodic financial forecasting. Monitor and report on financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
3. Financial Reporting: Assisting our Financial Accountant in preparing and presenting accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
4. Cash Flow Management: Assisting our Financial Controller in overseeing cash flow management, including forecasting and optimizing working capital to ensure financial stability.
5. Receivables Planning: Manage accounts receivable to optimize cash flow. Handle invoicing and collection of outstanding invoices, identify collection issues, and implement strategies to improve collections and reduce overdue payments.
6. Cost Management: Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to control and reduce expenses. Collaborate with departments to manage and monitor expenditures.
7. Compliance & Regulation: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards. Manage tax compliance and coordinate with external auditors.
8. Systems & Processes: Enhance financial systems, tools, and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (e.g., ACCA).

Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management or a similar role.

Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and budgeting processes.

Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
