Join our Core Business Services (CBS) team and you will help support important business enablement functions that keep our organization running strong. As a CBS professional, you will work across teams to provide the knowledge, resources, methodologies and tools that help EY deliver exceptional quality service to our clients, win in the marketplace and support EY’s growth and profitability. Teams within CBS include Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, Enterprise Support Services, Brand Marketing and Communications, Business Development, Knowledge/Research and Risk Management.

The opportunity

The Finance Administrative Executive is a key finance role focusing on providing finance support across EY internal client account team and management. You will collaborate with key stakeholders and other Core Business Service functions to ensure effective and consistent finance support rendered to the assigned Service Lines.

Your key responsibilities

  1. Assist in managing day-to-day finance and accounting activities
  2. Manage Accounts Payable, Payments, Accounts Receivable, Billings and Credit/Debit Note
  3. Prepare cheque/TT/online payments and maintain petty cash, cheque and financial documents
  4. Ensure payments of invoices and other finance expenses are processed accordingly
  5. Perform bank reconciliation and ensure all banking matters are handled accurately and promptly in compliance with all related regulations, policies and guidelines
  6. Issue official receipts for payments received and prepare documents for bank-in of cheques received
  7. Raise journals and ensure timely closing of monthly activities
  8. Ensure proper filing and maintenance of Finance documents and generate finance reports when required
  9. Assist in other general administrative work or ad-hoc tasks assigned by management team
  10. Effectively engage with internal clients to deliver continuous service improvement
  11. Build strong key stakeholder relationships and stay connected with the business and functional experts

  6. Competent with Finance operations experience

To qualify for the role you must have

  1. At least Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related courses
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience in finance related experience professional services environment

Ideally, you’ll also have

  1. Experience in internal client serving role in a professional services organization
  2. Experience in management accounting
  3. Familiarity with SAP
  4. Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  5. Excellent written and oral communication skills
