Responsibilities:

1. Administers and monitors the financial system to ensure that the municipal finances are maintained in an accurate and timely manner.
2. Ensures all transactions are properly recorded and entered into the computerized accounting system.
3. Prepare daily payment and reconcile bank statements.
4. Prepare daily and weekly fund execution plan.
5. Keep precise financial records and adhere to accounting standards.
6. Accounting pre-close and post-close responsibilities, including preparing journal entries, adjusting trial balance, completing month-end closing, and performing account reconciliation.
7. Coordinates and assists the annual audit.
8. Ad-hoc tasks assigned by superior/management.

Requirements:

1. Possess a Bachelor Degree in Account/Finance or equivalent.
2. At least 2 years of relevant working experience in the related field or position. (Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply)
3. Display proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
4. Able to work independently, collaboratively, and in a responsible manner.
5. Prefer candidates who can start work immediately.
6. Willing to work in Bintulu.

Ocikumho Sdn Bhd is a newly established company, a venture between OCIM Sdn Bhd and South Korea-based Kumho P&B Chemical Inc, to manufacture epichlorohydrin (ECH) at Sarawak's Samalaju Industrial Park. ECH is a compound mainly used to produce epoxy resins. Its main applications serve the clean energy market, such as wind, solar, tidal, and electricity transmission, providing corrosion protection coatings. Using a bio-based raw material, OCIKUMHO’s unit will be integrated into a new processing complex using electricity made by hydropower, in Sarawak, Malaysia to serve the growing ECH market.
