Film & Content Producer (Freelance)

MediaMonks Malaysia is searching for a fine new Film & Content Producer. We’re looking to hire someone to produce all kinds of content & social content and support film-based projects.

Role & Responsibilities:

• As part of our lovely APAC team, you’ll work with leading brands to produce high-end commercials, photography, lo-fi and nimble social content, ecommerce and everything else in between.
• Lead all content productions as well as support post-production projects.
• Responsible for strategizing, scoping and putting cost estimates together as well as planning production work. Manage simultaneous projects.
• Produce content projects from concept through to post-production — carried out with our local, regional and global teams.
• Coordinate resources and reconciliation of projects.
• Establish what gets done and when (SOWs), ensuring projects are on schedule, with realistic targets and deadlines.
• Deliver terrific projects, ensuring each content project looks as advertised by coordinating the pre-production and the shoot.
• Plan and work on different types of production deliverables and propose the most efficient and cost-effective solutions to answer the briefs.
• Together with our creatives and Accounts Monks, play a key role in bidding for new projects and the development of content & social content treatments and production proposals.
• Assess and elevate the feasibility of concepts and production plans, ensuring work aligns with the client’s brief and budget.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of Film & Content production experience.
• Strong knowledge of producing content assets for social media and a strong network of freelancers and line production companies in Malaysia (regional network is a plus).
• Team player with expertise in physical production, able to support accounts teams in client relationships.
• Ability to handle stressful situations effectively.
• Capable of managing simultaneous projects.
• Good knowledge of pre- and post-production workflow.
• Good English is a must! Other languages are a bonus.
