Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Field Service Manager located in Labuan. The Field Service Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating field service operations, managing a team of service technicians, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining client relationships. Additionally, the Field Service Manager will be involved in planning and executing service projects efficiently.

Safety

  1. Adhere to the Geowell Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies, operational procedures and practices, and general safety while at the workplace.
  2. Ensuring that all approved safety procedures and precautions are implemented by subordinates.
  3. Active participation in safety campaigns, safety audits, and incident/accident investigations.

Operational And Technical Support

  1. Managing the Slickline operation according to the contract and company requirements.
  2. Managing the Slickline training and serving as an Internal Slickline trainer for crew development.
  3. Oversee preparation for new Slickline package mobilization.
  4. Responsible for communication and surveillance of ongoing Slickline operations.
    1. Daily communications with ongoing operations at locations.
    2. Review of daily operations reports.
    3. Highlight any operational problems and issues to senior management.
  5. Provide technical and operational support for ongoing Slickline operations.
    1. Facilitate movement of urgent items for ongoing operation.
    2. Make available drawings, specifications, and other relevant data for analysis when required.
    3. Coordinate third-party services or supply as requested by clients.
    4. Attend meetings and discussions with clients on matters related to operations.
    5. Organize brainstorming sessions with parties related to ongoing operations (wireline crew, clients, and 3rd party) in the event of pressing issues such as tool problems or fishing.
    6. Produce the decision tree for any critical fishing program.
  6. Verify all relevant documents for invoicing purposes:
    1. RFS and equipment movement.
    2. Equipment inventory.
    3. Equipment damage reports.
    4. Crew movement.
  7. Review and endorse the crew change planning.
  8. Ensure all Slickline crew attend Briefing and Debriefing sessions prior to going out offshore and after returning to the base from offshore by the Project Manager/Engineer.
  9. Ensure Slickline training is conducted according to the schedule.
  10. Evaluate Slickline crews for promotion.
  11. Ensure timely submission of Slickline Activity Closed-Out Report to clients and top management.
  12. Monitor and track Slickline activity performance such as NPT, Equipment Failure statistics, etc.
  13. Monitor wireline crew performance and provide timely feedback to the client in the event of non-compliance or deviation from client’s objectives or standards.

Sales

  1. Provide technical and operational support as needed to the Sales Team.
  2. Pursue sales efforts for call-out equipment and services.
  3. Provide appropriate support to clients to close in/finalize potential call-out services.

General

  1. Alternate Internal Slickline trainer.
  2. Alternate weekend duty.
  3. Must be contactable at all times.
  4. Perform any assignments as given by GM.

Measure of Performance

Key Target

  1. Fully responsible for the company’s operational activities and safety.
  2. Timely delivery of the expected services to the client by providing the accepted equipment.
  3. Support the above with qualified, reliable, and trained professional personnel to represent the company, subject to acceptance from the client.
  4. Compliance with safety requirements and standards while in the company’s as well as client’s premises.

Qualifications

  • Technical knowledge in Slickline Services.
  • Experience in Field Service Operations Management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry is a plus.

Working Conditions

  • Normal Business Hours: 08:00 – 17:00.
  • Based in Labuan, Asia Supply Base.
  • Requirements to travel outside the office.
