Position: Field Service Engineer (Home Based Penang)

Company Background:
Our well-established client is a MNC technology company specializing in the Semiconductor industry (Smart Card, passport/ePassport, Semiconductor and RFID industry). They are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented candidate to fill their current job opening of Field Service Engineer to be based in Penang.

Job Descriptions:

1. Install, service, and maintain the equipment to ensure good and stable production.
2. Carry out training for customers.
3. Ensure customer satisfaction towards the equipment performance.
4. Provide overview updates on machine condition and situation after visits and follow up on customer feedback.
5. Provide feedback on the status of equipment to the customer after providing any kinds of support.
6. Other tasks assigned by superior.

Job Requirements:

1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering, or equivalent.
2. At least 2 years of working experience in back-end process (Die Sorter, Pick & Place Process, Vision Inspection, Robot Handling) in the related field is required for this position.
3. Experienced in machinery servicing environment.
4. Able to work independently, with critical thinking, proactive in problem-solving, and creative in providing solutions.
5. 100% flexibility to travel abroad at any given time.
6. No issue to attend technical training with a bond.
7. Candidate must be willing to travel to Germany for training.
8. Candidate must be willing to work in Ayer Keroh, Melaka temporarily until the Project kicks off in Penang.
9. Candidate must be willing to travel overseas to support clients.
10. Candidate must be able to speak Mandarin to support overseas clients in Taiwan.
