Field Engineer

Job Summary
Provide overall responsibility for the Field Service function of OneSubsea.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Participate in interventions, inspections, commissioning and start-up of Processing Engineering delivered equipment.
2. The main equipment components are multiphase meters, multiphase pumps and swivel systems.
3. Typical main components auxiliary systems are HVAC, HPU, variable speed drive, transformer and associated controls of these.
4. The work will be conducted world-wide onboard vessels, platforms, at yards, etc.
5. Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing / System Integration Testing at client’s and own facilities.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Experience:
Minimum of 8-10 years experience of valve trouble shooting, preferably in the Oil & Gas Industry both onshore and offshore.
Education:
B.S.C degree in automation, electronics, mechanics or subsea.

Preferred Skills/ Competencies

1. Knowledge/experience of subsea processing and production equipment.
2. Knowledge/experience of topside industrial equipment such as PLC’s, computers, variable speed drives, HVAC systems, etc.
3. Knowledge/experience within industrial documentation such as P&ID’s, electrical drawings, schematics.
4. Certification for offshore work is an advantage.
5. Fluent in spoken and written English.
6. Strong attention to detail.
