Wan Yeen Trading Sdn Bhd is a contract manufacturer specializing in traditional Chinese medicine, herbal preparations, health food, and nutritional food supplements. Based in Ipoh, Malaysia, Wan Yeen has been in operation for more than 20 years, thus building a strong foundation and being regarded as a source of strength for our customers. Specializing in producing capsules, blisters, sachets, tea bags, liquid, and extract granules, Wan Yeen has grown to three manufacturing plants situated in Bercham, Ipoh, to sustain production while ensuring all products are of high quality. All products comply with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles as mandated by the Malaysian Drug Control Authority (DCA). Aside from manufacturing activities, Wan Yeen also provides OEM services such as sourcing of raw materials, product formulation, product registration (MAL), and classification.

What do we need you to do?

• Manage all aspects of factory administration, raw materials consumption, production output, quality compliance, and all supporting facilities to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations.
• Plan effectively for plant workers, equipment, and resource allocation to meet production goals.
• Work closely with the Plant Head and Human Resource Department to implement and execute activities in compliance with Company policies and procedures such as GMP, ISO, and OSHA.
• Lead and drive the team to ensure effective management of manufacturing support activities and execution of facilities-related projects.
• Initiate and implement continuous improvement and cost-saving plans to ensure optimal use of company resources and minimize wastage.
• Perform other roles and responsibilities as assigned by Senior Management to better manage the factory environment.
• Attend to customers, providing guidance and support throughout the sales process.
• Understand client needs and requirements, and recommend suitable solutions to address their challenges or goals.
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our offerings.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.

What do we need from you?

• Candidate must possess at least SPM, Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Food Technology, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, with the ability to effectively communicate and engage with Mandarin-speaking customers.
• Candidates with previous work experience in Engineering, Chemistry, or Food Technology will have an added advantage.
