Company Background

We are representing our client, a well-established Halal & HACCP pastry and bakery manufacturer, which distributes and supplies a broad variety of bakery and pastry products to various customers such as F&B convenience stores, F&B outlets, eateries, and airlines.

They are currently embarking on expansion plans and are looking for qualified and dynamic candidates to fill the Factory Manager position to be based in Puncak Alam (New Plant).

Job Summary:

  • Manage and lead all facility, production, and administrative departments.
  • Provide directions and coaching to achieve work objectives and improve performance and skills in the production plant.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for production planning and scheduling, matching the resources needed to complete the production task, distinguishing the priorities of the tasks, setting the completion deadline, and paying regular attention to the project progress. Respond to accidents in time according to the updated content of the plan, and ensure the efficient and timely completion of the production task of the day.
  • Responsible for daily management and supervision, allocating all kinds of resources, conducting objective assessments, and seeking to maximize the utilization of all the resources (personnel, equipment, materials, tools, etc.), improving production efficiency and reducing production costs.
  • Plan, organize, and control production and operations while ensuring compliance with GMP, HACCP, Halal, and ISO requirements.
  • Ensure safe work conditions compliance with OSHA, food hygiene, and health compliance in production.
  • Pay attention to all aspects affecting the product, summarize quality control points, form training templates, take corrective and preventive measures, and strictly monitor the implementation of these aspects to constantly improve the comprehensive quality pass rate of production.
  • Responsible for capacity assessment, timely proposing personnel demand plans, following up personnel in place, rationally arranging employment, and improving per capita efficiency.
  • Work out and implement Standard Operating Procedures for production and operations.
  • Lead corrective action and problem-solving activities and participate in continuous improvement activities.
  • Coordinate with HR Dept to hire, train, and supervise production employees.
  • Carry out other duties and tasks as directed by Top Management in line with competencies and activities associated with any of the above processes.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of work experience in a food manufacturing company, focusing on production planning, equipment management, or a similar position.
  • Ability to speak in Mandarin or Cantonese.
  • Excellent organizational skills, strategic thinking, and a good working attitude.
  • Committed, mature, have a pleasant disposition, and able to work independently.
  • Able to work under pressure and willing to work additional hours when necessary.
  • Capable of guiding teams to improve factory operations processes.
  • Familiar with ISO9001, ISO14001, GMPC, 6S, and other related knowledge.
  • Proficient in production planning and on-site management, with expertise in all aspects of production manufacturing.
