As the Factory Manager (Operations), you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, driver management, and inventory control at our facility. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our manufacturing processes, logistics, and inventory management systems.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Manage and oversee all production activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control, to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products.
  2. Supervise and coordinate the activities of drivers, including route planning, vehicle maintenance, and adherence to safety protocols.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, minimize stock shortages, and reduce carrying costs.
  4. Monitor production and inventory data to identify trends, anticipate demand fluctuations, and make data-driven decisions to improve operational efficiency.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, procurement, and finance, to forecast production requirements, plan inventory purchases, and meet customer demands.
  6. Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, quality guidelines, and safety regulations.
  7. Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of operations staff, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
  8. Identify areas for process improvement and cost optimization, and lead initiatives to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
  9. Manage relationships with external suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
  10. Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance metrics, operational challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Diploma/Degree in business administration, industrial management, logistics, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in operations management, preferably in manufacturing.
  3. Proven track record of success in managing production processes, inventory control, and logistics operations.
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  5. Proficiency in inventory management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  6. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices in manufacturing.
  7. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  8. Fluency in English and Mandarin languages required to communicate with counterparts and vendors; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
