Job Responsibilities

• Routine Maintenance: Perform scheduled inspections, maintenance, and servicing of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, AC systems and company cars to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely.
• Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and troubleshoot building and facility malfunctions and breakdowns, and perform necessary repairs promptly to minimize downtime, with management approval and provide sufficient notice and timeline, include ceiling and roof, AC, flooring and other repairs as required.
• Emergency Response: Standby and respond promptly to emergency call and breakdown such as power outages, plumbing leaks, or AC failures to address issues and restore normal operations, during working and off-working hours.
• Equipment Installation: Install, set up, and commission new equipment and systems as per manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
• Security and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards by following proper procedures for handling hazardous materials, maintaining fire safety systems, and conducting regular safety inspections.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventory, and service schedules.
• Cleaning and Waste Management: Responsible for scheduled waste and normal waste disposal.
• Facility Upkeep: Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, and landscaping to ensure the facility's appearance and functionality meet organizational standards.
• Compliance to Local Authority: Ensure the company complies with all local authority rules & regulations such as BOMBA, JKKP, JKR, MBPP, Tenaga Nasional and Safety and Health (DOSH) Department.
• Additional Tasks: Assist other departments and carry out projects as assigned by the company from time to time when necessary, as required.

Job Requirements

• Education: SPM and above
• Abilities: Ability to carry out the repair and maintenance activities with minimal supervision. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects with minimum assistance and heavier lifting or movement tasks with assistance. Move up and down stairs, and/or ladders, reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Physical/Appearance: Acceptable physical defects that do not affect job duties, neat, tidy and pleasant.
• Attitude: Good interpersonal and technical skills to carry out all duties and responsibilities effectively, good communication skills in interacting with other departments, self-disciplined, self-motivated.
