About the Role
Swiss Re continues to enhance the CRES functions to better align with business needs in the global operating model. This role will support the region wide (APAC) facilities operations in physical security and building infrastructure aspects.
A solid discipline of operational excellence is required for this role to support the CRES APAC team.
Support Head Safety & Physical Security APAC and Building & Technical Operations Manager APAC for matters related to physical security, building infrastructure and sustainability performance for all the Swiss Re locations in APAC.
After office hours support may be required to handle emergency situations in offices, both physical security and building infrastructure related matters.
Engineering/ Building Infrastructure (50%)
- Support the review process of the submitted engineering documents & reports from local CRES teams.
- Collect and analyze data and evidence submitted by local CRES teams, prepare reports to internal stakeholders.
- Support all local CRES teams on facilities operations.
- Support the incident management processes, including escalation and assist troubleshooting with the local teams and contractors.
- Support the CAPEX, OPEX improvement & EOL replacement projects.
- Ensure the facility operation complies with Swiss Re targeted standards.
- Conduct research in the topic related to building infrastructure and technology.
- Support the design process of training materials, signage and guidelines.
- Support data management for the IWMS AMM module including asset details, maintenance scope and maintenance planner.
- Support the required actions to comply with in-house IoT standards including firmware upgrades and password management.
Sustainability/ Internal Environment Management (20%)- Support the review process of the submitted environmental documents & reports from local CRES teams.
- Follow-up with local teams for potential issues identified from EPI submissions (data source, accuracy, unreasonable variances, etc.) and setup the necessary remedial actions.
- Support the ISO 14001 internal and external audit processes.
- Ensure compliance of environmental related regulation and CRES operation standard.
Security Operations (30%)- Coordinate with local teams to collect and consolidate the required documentations for review and governance processes.
- Support and coordinate technical security installation projects (PACS, CCTV, alarms, etc.) and EOL replacement projects.
- Conduct investigations on the malfunctions of technical security systems, with the support of internal teams and third-party vendors.
- Offer support to local teams for technical security issues.
- Support the maintenance of the Physical Security Assurance Programme in the region.
- Support the design process of training materials, signage and guidelines.
- Ensure the regional and location operation comply with Swiss Re targeted standards.
About You- Bachelor's degree, major in engineering related disciplines.
- Minimum 3 years facility operation experience preferred with a track record in managing building infrastructure and security system, ideally have working experience in financial institutions.
- Knowledge in the regulatory requirements in Occupational Health & Safety.
- Proven ability to identify risks.
- Strong communications, verbal and written in English, required.
- Microsoft Office tools at a basic level, i.e. Excel, Word, MS Teams.
- Experience in operating security systems and IWMS would be beneficial.
