About the role
As a Facility Management Executive/Manager with Pembinaan Kekal Mewah Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the company's properties in Sabah. This full-time position requires hands-on experience in facilities management, allowing you to contribute to the strategic goals of the organisation.
What you'll be doing
- Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of assigned properties, including planning and coordinating necessary repairs and improvements.
- Liaise with vendors, contractors and service providers to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of services.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to prolong the life of building systems and equipment.
- Monitor budgets and expenses related to facility operations, and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures.
- Respond to and resolve tenant requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with the property management team to identify and address any issues or opportunities.
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a facilities management or building operations role, preferably in the real estate or property management industry.
- Must be CERTIFIED Facility Management Manager by CIDB.
- Strong working knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures and vendor management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with tenants, contractors and internal stakeholders.
- Proficient in using facility management software and tools to track work orders, budgets and performance metrics.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach.
- Tertiary qualification in facilities management, engineering or a related field is preferred.
