About the role

As a Facility Management Executive/Manager with Pembinaan Kekal Mewah Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the company's properties in Sabah. This full-time position requires hands-on experience in facilities management, allowing you to contribute to the strategic goals of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

  1. Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of assigned properties, including planning and coordinating necessary repairs and improvements.
  2. Liaise with vendors, contractors and service providers to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of services.
  3. Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to prolong the life of building systems and equipment.
  4. Monitor budgets and expenses related to facility operations, and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures.
  5. Respond to and resolve tenant requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations.
  7. Collaborate with the property management team to identify and address any issues or opportunities.

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a facilities management or building operations role, preferably in the real estate or property management industry.
  2. Must be CERTIFIED Facility Management Manager by CIDB.
  3. Strong working knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures and vendor management.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with tenants, contractors and internal stakeholders.
  5. Proficient in using facility management software and tools to track work orders, budgets and performance metrics.
  6. Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  7. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach.
  8. Tertiary qualification in facilities management, engineering or a related field is preferred.
